The World Leader in Solvent Recycling and Liquid Waste Minimization

Why recycle?

Free Cost Savings Analysis for Solvent Recycling

Thank you for visiting CBG Technologies! We have a wide selection of solvent recycling and liquid minimization solutions to fit virtually ANY application.

Solvents are expensive: • expensive to purchase • expensive to store and • expensive to dispose as waste.  And as oil prices continue to escalate, so do all of these costs.

By utilizing solvent recycling liquid waste minimization, you can accomplish the following:

  • Reduce your purchases of new solvents (perhaps as much as 90-95%) due to the continued re-use of existing solvent.
  • Reduce waste disposal costs as much as 90-95%.
  • Typical ROI 6-12 months.
  • Reduce areas needed for solvent and waste storage.
  • Obtain safer working conditions and reduced fire hazards.
  • Reduce EPA reporting and "cradle-to-grave" EPA liabilities.

Solvent recycling enables re-use of 90% or more of their solvent when recycled, depending on the content and characteristics of their waste. Solvent recycling also reduces waste disposal costs by up to 90%.

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION:

CBG Technologies solvent recycling systems use distillation in our solvent recovery unit (we offer both fractional and simple distillation product lines) to obtain both high purity and high recoveries.  With CBG Technologies solvent recyclers, the liquid waste is heated and the vapors are separated, purified and cooled back to a highly pure solvent for reuse. Solvent recycling systems produce solvents that can be re-used over and over again.

PURITIES AND RECOVERIES FOR RECYCLED SOLVENTS

Purity, recoveries and processing speeds can be adjusted easily to your needs and may vary per application
Purity as high as 99.8%; recoveries as high as 99+% are common

SOLVENTS AND VOLATILE CHEMICALS THAT CAN BE RECYCLED:

Xylene, toluene, and virtually all other aromatic hydrocarbons
Mineral spirits, paint thinners and other commercial solvent blends
Hexane, octane and and all other aliphatic hydrocarbons
Alcohols, glycols, esters, ethers, phenols and cresols
  Acetone, MEK, and other ketones
  Chlorinated, fluorinated and brominated hydrocarbons
Freons, n-propyl bromide, and other specialized solvents
  Formalin (formaldehyde)

EXAMPLE OF CONTAMINANTS THAT ARE REMOVED:

Powders, resins, paints/coatings, metals, dirt, small particles, and other types of solid contaminants
Glues, pastes, solder fluxes, and inks
PCB’s, oils, greases and  various waxes
Cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury and all other metal salts
